Communications Operator - GALLERYone Doubletree Suites by Hilton

GALLERYone Doubletree Suites by Hilton is a 231-room hotel located on the intracoastal waterway, within a short walk of Galleria Fort Lauderdale. The beach is nearby, and the hotel is within a short drive of Port Everglades. The hotel team reports to the Director of Front Office.

Responsibilities

Answer and respond to internal and external calls to deliver outstanding guest service and support hotel operations

Provide information and demonstrate knowledge of all hotel facilities and services

Respond to emergencies and document and relay accurate information to appropriate parties

Accept and deliver all messages promptly and accurately, using proper grammar and spelling

Operate office equipment including computers, PBX system, fax, e-mail, and related tools

What are we looking for?

2+ years of experience in customer service in guest-facing roles

Ability to work varying shifts (AM / PM, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed)

Hotel experience is a plus

Customer-focused, with a sense of urgency and accuracy
