We are seeking a motivated Payroll Specialist to join our team with daily operations and provide excellent service to employees and applicants. This role is ideal for someone with payroll experience who is eager to grow within the field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Weekly Duties

• Process payroll from start to finish including timecard management, data entry, corrections, and report creation (HeavyJob, E360, and HCSS systems).
• Prepare weekly reports
• Manage payroll-related communications, gather support documents, and ensure all new hires are set up for pay and E-Verify.
• Send paystubs, process certified payroll reports, and manage child support and wage garnishments.
• File and scan employee and payroll documents, maintain organized records, and complete PTO tracking and employment verifications.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and assist with special projects as needed.

Monthly / Quarterly / As Needed Duties

End-of-Year Duties

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position operates at our headquarters requiring the ability to communicate verbally with others on site, in person, and over the telephone, The role requires the ability to lift, push, pull, carry, handle, or feel objects weighing up to 30 pounds. The employee must also be able to reach with hands and arms, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, lift overhead, and traverse or position oneself around work areas to meet safety requirements. The position may require operating vehicles within local, state, and federal safety guidelines.
