job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvides nursing care to the residents on the nursing unit within the framework of the medical and nursing care plan, the policies of the Department and, under the supervision of a professional nurse. Monitors the residents closely to identify response to treatments, medication and / or changes in health status. Provides treatments to the residents according to the medical and nursing care plan and consistent with the policies of the Department. Prepares and dispenses medication to the residents according to the medical plan of care and consistent with the policies of the Department. Directly assists with the resident's activities of daily living, including direct care, observation of status and changes and supervision of non-professional staff. New York State LPN License One year of healthcare experience working with an adult or aging population in a clinical setting preferred One year of long term care experience preferred Experience using EMR
Immediate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) contract opportunity with our skilled nursing facility in Oakdale, NY.
Pay Rate : $45.00 / hr
Available Shifts :
- 7 : 00am - 3 : 00pm (Day)
- 3 : 00pm - 11 : 00pm (Evening)
- 11 : 00pm - 7 : 00am (Night)
- Guaranteed 3 shifts per week, additional shifts available as needed
- LPN needs to be available either every Sat OR every Sun OR every other Sat and Sun
