Location : Remote (must be within one hour driving distance of Falls Church, VA)

About the Role : We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. This position plays a key role in managing HR functions, benefits administration, compliance, and employee support.

Key Responsibilities

• Auditing 401k plans
• Administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments and terminations
• Process documents through payroll and insurance providers for accurate record keeping
• Conduct employee orientations and counsel employees on benefit plan provisions
• Manage annual open enrollment and assist with communication of changes
• Review monthly insurance billings for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Act as liaison with insurance carriers and maintain effective relationships
• Prepare government reports related to EEO compliance and other HR functions
• Maintain and update affirmative action plan and ensure federal reporting compliance
• Draft, revise, and proofread company policies and related documents
• Support supervisors with employee reviews and salary adjustments
• Assist accounting with payroll changes, new hires, and terminations
• Support recruiting and hiring processes, including job postings and agency coordination
• Serve as the primary contact for employee and benefit-related inquiries
• Assist with planning company events and promotions
• Stay current on regulatory changes affecting HR and benefits
• Represent the company with a positive attitude and energy
