CAD SolidWorks NX Designer Needed for Fermi National Laboratory

Our client, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, located in Batavia, Illinois, near Chicago, is a United States Department of Energy national laboratory specializing in high-energy particle physics. The experienced designer will operate under limited supervision to prepare mechanical designs and drawings utilizing NX1980 and Teamcenter, correctly applying the ASME Y14.5-M-1994 (or higher) GD&T standard.

Work hours : 8hour work short between 7am – 5pm.

Project Length : One (1) year. Project can be extended.

Worksite Location : Batavia, IL

Worksite is a federal facility. An unexpired REAL ID or Unexpired USA passport is REQUIRED to enter the Fermi site.

Skills & Experience Required :

• Demonstrate acceptable proficiency in SolidWorks / NX during a video interview on ZOOM.
• Minimum of a 5 years of experience as designer.
• Will deliver quality work products on deadline-driven projects.
