Trust and Estate Paralegal (Uniondale)

Nesco Resource has partnered with a prestigious law firm in Nassau County in their pursuit to hire a Paralegal for their Trusts and Estates practice area. This is a hybrid position working 2 days / week remote and 3 days / week in their Uniondale, NY office. This role works closely with attorneys, clients and accountants, providing support in all aspects of estate planning and administration.

What You'll Do :

• Maintain case organization by creating and managing files, monitoring calendars, tracking deadlines, documenting case activity, and updating information in databases and case management systems; regularly confirm case status with attorneys.
• Accurately capture and record billable time in compliance with firm policies and procedures.
• Assist with and attend Will signings to support attorneys and clients.
• Consistently demonstrate patience, empathy, and professionalism in client and team interactions.
• Foster a collaborative work environment by cooperating effectively with attorneys, legal staff, and administrators.
