Position Overview

We are looking for a Palletizer Operator for the Second Shift, Monday to Thursday, from 5 AM to 3 PM. Your duties will include :

• Reading production and delivery schedules to determine sorting and transfer procedures
• Identifying defective packaging and ensuring it is accumulated in the reject line
• Using label makers to correct defective package labels
• Controlling routing arrangements using selector switches
• Physically transferring containers onto pallets following configuration instructions
• Inspecting labels to ensure legibility and correctness for traceability
• Operating automatic palletizing equipment to sort and move packages
• Informing supervisors of equipment malfunctions or any situations that may jeopardize quality or schedule
• Driving forklifts and clamp trucks as needed
• Performing preventative maintenance and general repairs on equipment
• Communicating pertinent information with preceding and following shifts
• Willingness to cross-train in other areas
