Software Development Director – Oracle

Overview

Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks, and more. As a director of the software engineering division, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications, operating systems, and databases according to provided design specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale a high‑performing software engineering team.
  • Architect and evolve software solutions across the entire stack.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the existing architecture and envision future enhancements.
  • Mentor, hire, and retain top engineering talent.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, design, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, high‑quality products at scale.
  • Strong communication, mentorship, and hiring skills.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, databases, and container orchestration is a plus.

    • Compensation & Benefits

    US Hiring Range : $122,500 – $291,800 per annum. Eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
