Countryway is seeking a customer-focused Property Field Claims Representative to join our claims team in New York. The Property Field Claims Representative (PFCR) handles property damage and liability claims and provides efficient settlements in accordance with company procedures and standards.

LOCATION

Field based position in Upstate New York (within about 100 miles of Syracuse, NY). Company Auto provided with covered gas, insurance, and maintenance.

POSITION

Hours : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm, position will require occasional overnight travel.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Investigate all losses assigned.
• Comply with company policies and procedures in the handling of all losses and other company matters.
• Report all activity on all claim files to the company promptly.
• Promptly reply to all complaints as requested.
• Evaluate and Estimate claims using photos, measurements, estimating platforms, and other available resources.
• Assist and give guidance to all other claims personnel as requested.
• Advise Underwriting Department on all potential adverse risks.
• Comply with Unfair Claim Settlement Practices Act
• All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
