job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCollaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset in every interaction. Utilize online tools and multiple applications to efficiently resolve member concerns. Maintain ownership of each case from start to finish, ensuring complete documentation and follow-through. Assist members with benefit inquiries, enrollment questions, and issue resolution. Handle 100% inbound customer service calls (approximately 50–70 calls / day during peak season). Ability to explain complex information in a clear and empathetic manner. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong attendance record and reliability. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Proficiency in navigating multi-screen workstations and using multiple applications simultaneously. Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with CRM or call center software platforms. Demonstrated interest in career growth within healthcare or insurance services. Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) is a plus. Experience supporting Open Enrollment or similar high-volume seasonal operations. Prior experience in a healthcare or insurance-related customer service role.
Title : Health Plan Specialist
Location : 100% Remote | Must be located in or within 50 miles of St. Louis, MO, Madison, WI, or Omaha, NE
Assignment Length : 4 months | contract
Compensation : $19.00 per hour + $1 shift differential (shifts ending at or after 6 : 30pm)
Schedule :
- Required Availability : Monday – Friday 8am-8pm CST & Saturday 9am – 3pm CST
- Training : 8am – 4 : 30pm CST (first 4-6 weeks)
