[job_card.job_description]Bachelors Degree in a related field Years of Experience : Ten years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD. Experienced engineer that has worked on the network side and systems engineering side. Plus has knowledge of DoD AF policies TRDs, I-plans, TCTOs, 1067s, and has some rudimentary knowledge of CyberSecurity Ability to work independently and apply the proper procedures and processes related to their area of expertise Analyze and recommend network requirements Recommend and maintain network architecture and infrastructure Analyze network workload Monitor network capacity and performance Diagnose and resolve network problems Recommend network backup and recovery procedures Install, test, maintain, and upgrade network operating systems software Ensure the rigorous application of information security / cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services

WORK LOCATION : Hanscom AFB, MA
SALARY RANGE : Estimated $120,000 - $135,000 annually
- depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications
JOB STATUS : Full-Time; Salaried
SECURITY CLEARANCE : MUST have an active Secret security clearance
Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Network Services Specialist supporting the C3I & Networks Division (AFLCMC / HNI), which is part of EPASS Cyber and Networks Directorate (EPASS HN II) contract , and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.
