Director Of Change Management
CONMED is a leading Medical Device company committed to driving innovation and excellence. We are embarking on significant IT-enabled transformations, including a Global SAP implementation and a global Salesforce-enabled commercial transformation. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Change Management to lead these initiatives and ensure their successful execution. The Director of Change Management will be responsible for overseeing and implementing change management strategies to optimize the impact of large IT-enabled transformations.
This role will involve strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, communication, risk management, change management execution, and process execution. This is a remote position for candidates located anywhere in the continental United States, though preference will be given to candidates located close to Largo, FL, Denver, CO or Utica, NY.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement change management strategies that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Identify and engage key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for change initiatives.
- Communication : Create and deliver effective communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the transformation process.
- Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
- Change Management Execution : Oversee the execution of change management plans, ensuring that all activities are completed on time and within budget.
- Process Execution : Ensure that change management processes are followed and continuously improved based on feedback and lessons learned.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Management, Organizational Development, Psychology, Information Technology, or Computer Science10+ years of experience in change management, particularly in large-scale IT transformations such as SAP and Salesforce implementations.10+ years of experience in client relationship management, strategic planning, project coordination, and team leadershipPreferred Qualifications :
Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA), Computer Science, Organizational Development, or Change ManagementSAP change management experienceCertifications in change management (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) and project management (e.g., PMP)Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyExperience at a Big 4 or similar consulting organizationExperience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or life science industryOther Attributes :
Leadership Skills : Strong leadership and team management skills to guide and motivate teams through complex changes.Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and engage stakeholders.Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.Collaboration : Ability to work collaboratively with various departments including IT, marketing, and customer service to achieve project goalsExperience in a fast-paced global multinational matrix organizationFluent verbal and written communication in EnglishHands-on and proactive; strong organizational skillsResults driven and service oriented to internal and external customersDemonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a highly competitive environment10-20% travel required
Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is 162,000- 252,000. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level. The salary range is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
