- The estimated starting salary for this position is $71101.18 - $94209.12

A day in the life
The Associate Data Scientist is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of data driven solutions to solve complex business problems. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data build predictive models and provide insights to support decision making processes.
Your responsibilities will include
Performs research analysis and statistical modeling on organizational dataDevelops and applies algorithms and / or statistical models to key business metrics with the goal of improving operations or answering business questionsAnalyzes large datasets to identify trends patterns and insights and provides findings and analysis that can inform decision-making and strategic initiativesCollaborates with cross-functional internal teams including marketing sales healthcare providers and IT to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutionsAssists in data collection cleaning and pre-processingPerforms exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and insightsDevelops and tests simple models to solve business problemsCommunicates findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports visualizations and presentationsSupports senior data scientists in larger projects and research tasksStays up to date with industry trends and technologies within data sciencePerforms work under direct supervision; handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staffWhat you need to succeed
At least 1 year of experience with data science statistics machine learning algorithms and tools proficiency in languages such as SQL Python or R Apache ecosystem or related experienceMasters degree in data science statistics mathematics or a related fieldProficiency in analytical thinking to interpret data and identify patternsAbility to solve problems and resolve issues using data-driven approachesClear and effective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to present findings and insights through visualizations and presentationsSkill in analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful insightsAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address business needsEquivalent combination of education experience or training determined to be acceptable by Human Resources may be substituted unless regulated by contract or program standards
