Role : Project Manager

Location : Plano TX 75024

Duration : Contract to hire

  • The PM will handle multiple projects and work streams that cover a broad range of areas including :
  • Systems Development : Implementing an ATS system (Applicant Tracking System) and an HR system.
  • Technical Operations : Managing the technical aspect and platforms in general.
  • Compliance & Environment : Navigating the regulatory environment and the banking environment.
  • Executive Management : Wrangling the executives facilitating executive conversations and creating a project charter.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (included but are not limited to) :

  • Manage daily activities related to project scope budget and schedule to advance the work of multiple projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Quickly identify the business needs and translate into business requirements exhibiting comprehensive knowledge of the Banks business and system flows within the organization
  • Oversee the implementation of projects by developing or coordinating project plans facilitating meetings gaining consensus and creating appropriate communications of status to senior management
  • Develop analyze and manage project schedules and appropriate project management documentation
  • Actively seek to understand the Banks organization business areas systems and applications in order to contribute to the overall successful execution of its initiatives
  • Negotiate project plans timeframes and trade-offs with Business Partners understanding the impacts to the project and enterprise
  • Coordinate with third party vendors to provide services deploy new technologies and assist with projects requiring their expertise
  • Write detailed business description of user needs program functions and steps required to develop or modify processes
  • Make recommendations to management to help identify methods procedures and technologies that enhance project processes and improve deliverables
  • Accurately depict and report on project status to management through use of Smartsheet and other tools
  • Help identify risks and issues and their impact on project success in order to facilitate mitigation plans or escalating alternative solutions as needed
  • Other projects as assigned by manager

    • Qualifications (Education Computer Skills Certifications Etc.) :

  • Bachelors degree in business or equivalent required
  • Five (5) years plus Business and Technical Project Management experience in a financial services organization
  • Knowledge or retail banking operations and loan servicing strongly desired
  • Must be proficient in the use of tools : Microsoft Excel PowerPoint Word Sharepoint and Visio
  • Preferred experience using Smartsheets for project Management or Microsoft Project
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
  • Very strong consultative skills and the ability to define requirements based on minimal input from stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience with relationship building collaboration and team facilitation
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment that is continuously changing
  • Robust decision-making skills and ability to navigate complex challenges
  • PMP certification preferred by not required
