Brief Description of PSU / School / Dept

The Center for Student Health & Counseling (SHAC) is a nationally accredited (AAAHC) healthcare facility that offers medical, counseling, dental, and health promotion and education services to eligible students of Portland State University. SHAC Health Services enhances the overall health, safety, and wellbeing of Portland State University Students by providing same-day, primary, and preventative health care. Health Services provides health education, screenings, immunizations, laboratory & x-ray, and specialized care.

Position Summary

SHAC is seeking a part-time provider (2 days a week -16 hours) who is an MD / DO or NP / PA.

Primary responsibilities include providing direct medical care to patients. In addition, there are minimal, shared, after-hours duties to cover the on-call phone and other urgent provider tasks. These duties are paid apart from the provider compensation.

We are seeking a provider who is experienced with trauma-informed care and working with patients of diverse cultural backgrounds. Preferred skills include :

Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement

The hourly rate for this position is dependent upon qualifications and experience. Approximate range $80-$105 per hour.
