Position Summary
Anticipated Hiring Hourly Range : $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
The Auxiliary Coach reports to the Head Coach and assists in the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring that it functions at a high-level and remains in compliance with all NCAA, Conference, and University rules and policies. The Auxiliary Coach may also serve as the Recruiting Coordinator and may directly oversee student managers.

Duties :
Assist in all areas of practice planning, scouting, practice activities and individual coachingAssist in recruitment of student-athletes, under the direction of head coachPlayer Wellness : Facilitate a positive team culture that manifests itself on and off the field of play, putting the student-athlete’s well-being first.Hire and oversee team managersInput all compliance information into ACSDirect and supervise student managers and on occasion other assistant coachesAssist in planning all travel-arrangementsPromote academic success through discipline and accountabilityArrange tutors and communicate with faculty regarding missed classesSend required information to Admissions regarding all recruited prospectsOrganize all schedules : practice, game, classes, player development, and weightsFacility liaison : reserve field times, and meeting roomsCommunicate with training staff regarding the team’s scheduleFacilitate equipment ordering through the direction of head coachConduct individual and / or small-group film sessions with playersAssist in coordinating alumni functionsAssist and organize fundraising effortsConduct bi-weekly academic meetings with playersConduct weekly class attendance checkMay serve as Recruiting Coordinator at the direction of head coachFulfill all assignments to the program as assigned by the head coachEvening and weekend hours and overnight travel are required.Complete tasks timely with work that is comprehensive, complete, and accurateCommunicates clearly, listens attentively, and seeks to understand othersCollaborates productively with colleagues of varying skillsetOther job duties as assignedQualifications
