job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAllscripts Professional EHR Other EMR Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of Michigan (MI) Implements and executes an individualized client treatment plan under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Addresses client needs relative to daily living, motor and play skills, sensory integration, and more to promote independence. Communicates with clients, families, referring physicians, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and other team members. Provides timely documentation in accordance with company and department requirements. Provides timely written documentation as required by the insurance provider to meet licensing, certification, regulatory, and reimbursement requirements. Attends weekly ancillary service meetings with other professionals. Reports any changes in client status or treatment needs to the Supervising Occupational Therapist when appropriate. Meets or exceeds the company's productivity standards. Uses professional judgment to ensure the safety of self, clients, and other professionals. Maintains quality client care through interdisciplinary communication. Effectively communicates with Supervising Occupational Therapists regarding clients' responses to the treatment plan. Attends in-services, training sessions, or other meetings relevant to efficient and effective treatment services. Coordinates treatment goals with other team members. Maintains valid licensure, certification, or equivalent as requested by the appropriate state agency. Evening and weekend availability required.
Qualifications : Required :
- Associate degree or higher
- Pediatric Care (1+ years)
- 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following :
