Medical Claims Analyst

Now hiring for a Medical Claims Analyst for a healthcare insurance organization in the state of Wisconsin! This is a fully remote opportunity, but you must live in Wisconsin to be qualified. You will not be able to live in any other state to be qualified for this remote opportunity. MUST HAVES : 2+ years of medical claims processing experience required Knowledge of current procedural terminology (CPT) and international classification of diseases (ICD-9 and ICD-10). Medical terminology, COB processing, subrogation.

We are seeking a Claims Analyst II to examine and process paper and electronic claims. In this role, you will determine whether to return, pend, deny, or pay claims in accordance with established policies and procedures. Key responsibilities of this position include the following :

• Adjudicate claims by following departmental policies, operating memos, and corporate guidelines.
• Resolve claims and related issues in compliance with policy provisions.
• Compare claims applications and provider statements with policy files and other records to ensure completeness and validity.
• Process payments for claims that are approved.

Job Responsibilities :

Shift : Training will be 4-6 weeks, Monday-Friday, 8am-4 : 30pm. After training, they are flexible on the schedule.

Job Type & Location : This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brookfield, WI.

Pay and Benefits : The pay range for this position is $19.25 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
