About the Role

Iona Universitys Marketing & Communications team is seeking a highly creative and motivated communications professional to lead dynamic storytelling across digital video print and social platforms. This position combines strategic communications multimedia production and content management to amplify Ionas brand elevate the Universitys distinction and authentically engage students alumni and the broader community.

The ideal candidate is a strong content creatoran exceptional writer storyteller and digital producerwho thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings ideas to life through compelling narratives videos photography and social media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Communications & Public Relations

• Conceive and execute engaging content for the web social media email marketing press releases and print publications.
• Draft press releases and media pitches to engage the external audience.
• Manage internal email communications to engage the campus community in events across campus working closely with campus partners to promote key initiatives.
• Monitor media coverage and stay on top of trends.
• Support event promotion outreach and marketing.
• Assist with writing and storytelling for Iona Alumni Magazine.
• Ensure all written and other content reflects Ionas voice values and brand standards.
