Job Requirements

Education Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Medical Physics, Physics, or related field from an accredited institution

Certifications Requirements : CMP (Certified Medical Physicist - Therapy) through ABR, BLS, ACLS (preferred), Radiation Safety Certification (if applicable)

Experience Requirements : Minimum of 1 year post-residency experience in radiation physics, specifically with photon therapy, HDR / LDR, SRS, and SBRT techniques

Other Requirements : Ability to work independently, strong communication skills, proficiency with Eclipse, Radformation, and CT imaging software, physical ability to perform QA and calibration tasks

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical physics support for radiation therapy departments, including calibration, QA, and safety protocols.

Execute high-quality treatment planning using Eclipse, Radformation, and CT simulation tools in accordance with physician directives.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure accurate delivery of photon, HDR / LDR, SRS, and SBRT treatments for adult cancer patients.

Perform routine equipment QA, calibration, and safety surveys on linear accelerators and related therapy devices.

Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, calibrations, and safety checks following departmental and regulatory standards.
