Position Overview

The College of Humanities at Charleston Southern University invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Southern seeks candidates who are professing Christians committed to excellence in teaching scholarship and should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education and be willing to explore with students the integration of faith and learning.

Responsibilities

This is a part-time adjunct faculty position. Primary duties include conducting Geography lecture classes in an in-person classroom setting or online as well as assisting students on assignments grading papers classroom management and submitting data (attendance grades etc.) on time as required by the institution.

Qualifications

This position requires a Master of Arts or PhD degree in Geography or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Geography. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching at the college level should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education and be willing to explore with students the integration of the Christian faith and learning.
