TITLE : Controls Engineer

Comp : Up to $125,000 / year

Location : Fort Wayne, Indiana

Our client is seeking immediate assistance in identifying a candidate for a Controls Engineer direct hire position in Fort Wayne, IN.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Design, develop, and implement fully automated, turn-key production cells.
• Program and integrate industrial robots
• Develop PLC code using Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 and Siemens TIA Portal.
• Configure and tune servo systems
• Implement and troubleshoot machine vision systems
• Commission, validate, and support automation projects at customer sites.
• Utilize AI tools to assist with coding, data handling, and other development tasks.
• Write, modify, and optimize code for both new and existing machinery.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate on the design and integration of complex, multi-cell automation systems-primarily focused on motor winding applications involving robotics and precision motion control.
• Develop customized manufacturing solutions by programming PLCs, PCs, HMIs, servos, VFDs, and robotic systems.
