We’re seeking a Revenue Cycle Trainer to deliver engaging classroom and virtual training programs that strengthen our Revenue Cycle operations. This role is key to ensuring our teams have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service and maintain operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Facilitate Training : Lead classroom and virtual sessions on Revenue Cycle processes, including patient inquiries, insurance handling, payment collection, and claim resolution.
- Teach Technical Skills : Provide instruction on tools such as Epic, OnBase, vendor websites, and electronic eligibility verification systems.
- Apply Adult Learning Principles : Create interactive and effective learning experiences tailored to diverse audiences.
- Collaborate : Work with management and subject matter experts to assess needs and develop targeted training solutions.
- Evaluate & Improve : Monitor learner progress, conduct post-training evaluations, and continuously update curricula to reflect best practices and emerging technologies.
- Stay Current : Keep up with evolving instructional methods and trends to deliver innovative training programs.
What We’re Looking For
Education : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience : Minimum of 5 years in training, education, or instructional design—preferably within Revenue Cycle or healthcare operationsStrong facilitation and communication skillsExpertise in adult learning principlesProficiency with Epic and related Revenue Cycle toolsAbility to manage multiple training programs and adapt to changeWhy Join Us?

Job Responsibilities and Requirements :
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for planning, developing and presenting effective skills training, technical instruction and education materials for staff members within Revenue Cycle.Skills training includes proper handling of inquiries for patients and insurance companies, obtaining payment on outstanding balances, effective and efficient resolution of denied and outstanding claims and applying payment and denial information to patient accounts.Technical instruction includes efficient use of Epic, On-Base, vendor websites, electronic eligibility verification or other tools that support the revenue cycle process.Applies knowledge of adult learning principles to teach various types of learning content.Works collaboratively with management and subject matter experts to understand desired performance, assess learning needs, and develop appropriate training solutions.Monitors course participants' progress throughout assigned courses. Conducts post-training evaluations and analyzes results. Updates curricula and explores new materials for program participants.Takes action to stay abreast of current and evolving learning trends, instructional methods / techniques and emerging technologies.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION
