Credit Analyst

Summary / Objective

We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Credit Analyst to join our Credit and Collections team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and resolving customer accounts handling collections addressing billing discrepancies and ensuring smooth communication across internal departments. The role involves a variety of tasks including order releases balancing accounts addressing pricing discrepancies managing payments and maintaining customer relationships.

Essential Functions

• Conduct collection calls generate monthly account statements follow up on unpaid invoices and reduce delinquency for assigned accounts.
• Handle customer service issues process refunds account adjustments and ensure accurate payment reconciliation.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and work with relevant departments (sales accounting) to correct issues.
• Review and release orders as needed.
• Assist with customer payment application for payments without remittance information.
• Process customer payments and manage COD accounts.
• Set up new accounts pull credit reports and submit credit requests for approval.
• Ensure that builders approve purchase orders and invoices for timely payment.
• Track payments via customer websites and liaise with builders to obtain payment approvals.
• Handle missing invoices and reprint them for customers for multiple business units.
• Investigate missing deposits and work with accounting to ensure deposits are correctly applied.
