No Job Summary / Basic Function Support the mission and vision of Concordia College and demonstrate the competencies as defined for this position.

Provide individual academic counseling and coaching – 90%

• Conduct individual student meetings for skill development and academic support
• Facilitate learning of college skills by challenging students to practice success strategies while building supportive and mentoring relationships
• Develop academic success plans in consultation with students and key stakeholders
• Execute outreach and interventions designed for students identified as at-risk
• Manage a caseload of students, use Navigate to track all meetings and monitor progress
• Use data points including progress reports, mid-semester grades, and alerts to inform next strategies / support for students
• Coordinate with campus and community resources as necessary to evaluate progress and ensure appropriate support for students
• Serve as a resource for the development and assessment of strategies in the student support curriculum
