Job Description :

L3Harris is seeking an experienced Data Analyst responsible for managing datasets alongside our engineering / architecture teams, generating reports and models, creating visualizations, and delivering their insights in presentation form. Have a strong background in mathematics and statistics, and excellent communication skills. This position is to support a nationwide customer in a mission critical operational environment where responsiveness, reliability and adaptiveness are requirements. They must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products.

Essential Functions :

Coordinates continuous improvement initiative ideas between personnel and management using established tools

Produces daily, weekly, and / or monthly reports as assigned

Regularly examines data reports to identify and resolve data integrity issues

Participates in projects and other tasks as assigned

Communicates the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers

Processing confidential data and information

Helping develop and modify reports as required to meet program needs

Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.

Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting

Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems

Generating reports from single or multiple

Troubleshooting the reporting database environment ensuring tools and reports are working with latest software revision requirements

Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business

Create data tools for analytics and team members that assist them in building and optimizing product workflows

Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

At least 2 years prior experience and understanding of Metrics principles, processes and producing reports

Preferred Additional Skills :

Expert level experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office products

Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports

Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines

Ability to use Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs and charts

Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers
