Manager, Weight and Inspections

What you’ll need to succeed as a Manager of Weight and Inspections at XPO

Minimum qualifications :

4 years of weights and inspection experience

Available to travel up to 50% of the time and to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, varying shifts and weekends

Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

Preferred qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree

4–7 years of experience in freight audit, logistics, or transportation

2+ years of supervisory experience preferred

Familiarity with dimensioning tools and forklift scale maintenance

Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills

NMFC training preferred

What you’ll do on a typical day :

Lead and develop regional W&I teams to deliver audit accuracy and operational excellence

Drive freight classification strategy aligned with revenue goals and NMFC standards

Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Compliance to reduce exceptions and improve classification accuracy

Own onboarding, training, and performance reporting for W&I staff

Ensure tool functionality and certification for dimensioning devices and forklift scales

Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
