Location : Springfield, IL 62769 (Illinois healthcare jobs)

Unit : Intermediate Care Unit (Telemetry)

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Contract

Start Dates : Multiple options in December and January (contract ends by 3 / 14 / 2026)

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1950-$2090

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Illinois RN license (required for Illinois nursing jobs)

Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Telemetry or Intermediate Care Unit

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend

Submit all requested time off (RTO) at application

Tele RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit, specializing in telemetry monitoring

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Educate patients and families on care plans and health management

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards
