About This Role

The Production Test Engineering Section Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of engineers who support production testing in a factory environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prioritizing tasks to meet customer needs, coordinating resources, and managing team staffing levels while interfacing with strategic personnel and leaders.
  • Training, coaching, mentoring, employee performance development, and ensuring technical quality of engineering tasks, product compliance, and providing oversight to the team including timecard approval.
  • Developing sustaining solutions to technical problems, troubleshooting manufacturing systems, and leading root cause analysis and corrective action. Participating or leading functional improvement projects.
  • Directly supporting manufacturing test activities and spending significant time on the factory floor in a dynamic environment.
