We’re seeking passionate and dependable Substitute Teachers to join our substitute teaching pool for private and charter schools in the Lake Alfred and greater Orange–Polk County area .

We are especially interested in educators with a background or enthusiasm for Social Studies and those open to long-term substitute assignments . These placements provide an opportunity to build strong classroom relationships and contribute meaningfully to student success.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans to ensure instructional continuity and student engagement.
• Manage classroom behavior and foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Support learning across all subjects, with particular focus on Social Studies, literacy, and core academics.
• Adapt to different grade levels and student needs, including special education.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents.
• Maintain attendance and classroom activity records during assignments.
