Hall Mazda in Virginia Beach is adding a Parts Delivery Driver to our team. This is a Monday through Friday role, no Saturdays! Pay starts at $15 / hour. Candidates MUST have a good driving record!

Summary : The Parts Driver will be responsible for transporting automotive parts to different locations using a company vehicle while obeying all federal and state traffic laws and safe daily practices. This individual will communicate at a high level to both internal and external customers to drive a high level of customer service.

Essential Duties : picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors; verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up and checks for payments; keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries, pick-ups, payments and COD's; advises Parts Manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance; assists service department as needed with attendant responsibilities of managing the drop-off and pick-up of customers' cars.

Qualifications : valid driver's license, with 2 or fewer moving violations and also no major violations in the last 3 years (DUI, reckless driving, etc.); three to six months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; self-starter with proven ability to seek out new ways to build opportunities for the dealership and customer satisfaction; ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions; basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematics skills.
