The Role : Sourcing Manager OFCI Equipment

As a Sourcing Manager OFCI Equipment at Switch, you will be part of a world-class team that operates in excellence, delivering mission-critical solutions that redefine what's possible in AI, cloud and enterprise data center needs. Your work will directly impact the future of technology and the sustainable growth of the Internet.

What You'll Do

• Lead the procurement of OFCI equipment such as generators, switchgear, chillers, and CRAC units, ensuring alignment with project schedules and budget targets.
• Identify, qualify, and manage supplier and manufacturer relationships. Negotiate contracts and ensure adherence to quality, cost, and delivery standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Design, Construction, Operations) to align procurement activities with project milestones and manage lead times effectively.
• Coordinate logistics for equipment deliveries, manage warehousing and staging, and implement Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs to optimize capital deployment.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, component obsolescence, and vendor performance.
• Monitor procurement budgets and support value engineering efforts to ensure cost-effective sourcing without compromising quality.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal standards across all procurement activities. Manage supplier agreements, renewals, and dispute resolution.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership on procurement status, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Drive next-level innovation in Construction to support our mission-critical infrastructure.
