Refractive Ophthalmic Technician - Ophthalmology Private Practice

Full time - Immediate availability

Starting Pay range : $24-32 DOE

Duties

Perform preliminary patient work-up including history taking and visual acuity measurements and refracting

Assist ophthalmologists with diagnostic testing such as OCTs and visual field testing

Administer eye medications as directed by physicians

Educate patients on proper eye care procedures and post-operative instructions

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health records

Experience

Previous experience in ophthalmology or optometry clinic is preferred

Familiarity with anatomy and physiology of the eye

Knowledge of aseptic techniques for maintaining a sterile environment

Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems

We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist ophthalmologists in providing eye care services to patients. This role requires a blend of technical skills and patient care expertise.
