POSITION SUMMARY :

Fairfax Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist. The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the complete and efficient operation of the pharmacy within all legal and accreditation / certification requirements and applicable facility policies, procedures, codes and standards. This includes administrative, pharmaceutical, and professional functions relating to pharmaceutical care provided at this facility.

Wage Range :

Minimum : $53.20 / hour

Maximum : $80.47 / hour

Work Schedule : 8-hour shift, must be able to work at least two shifts per month. 8AM-4 : 30PM

Qualifications

Education : Graduate from an accredited Pharmacy Program is required.

Experience : A minimum of three (3) years hospital pharmaceutical experience is preferred; must possess the experience to oversee the provision of medication requirements for the patient populations treated in this facility, including knowledge of dosage for age-specific populations.

Licensure : Currently licensed as a Pharmacist in Washington state. Must have a valid driver's license.

Additional Requirements : A working knowledge of Joint Commission Standards, OSHA regulations, and state and federal laws and regulatory requirements.
