Responsibilities

As the LVN Director of Staff Development (DSD) at Community Subacute & Transitional Care Center, you’ll play a vital role in supporting excellence across a 106-bed skilled nursing facility that provides both subacute and transitional levels of care. As a distinct part of Community Regional, this facility serves patients with complex needs — from chronic and subacute conditions to those recovering from illness, surgery, or extended hospitalization. As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll ensure that staff are well-equipped, confident, and empowered to deliver the high-quality, patient-centered care that Community is known for.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive education and training programs for staff — including CNAs, LVNs, and RNAs — to maintain clinical competency, ensure regulatory compliance, and support high-quality patient care. You’ll also lead classroom and hands-on training sessions, facilitate orientation for new hires, and conduct ongoing staff competency assessments.
