Job Overview

As Charleston Sports Medicine expands, we are seeking a Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in sports medicine and musculoskeletal care. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using ultrasound technology, especially for guided injections. Experience with Orthobiologics and Shockwave / EMTT procedures is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided.

Objectives & Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and conditions for athletes and active individuals.
• Utilize x-rays and ultrasounds for diagnostic purposes and to guide therapeutic injections.
• Participate in the delivery of regenerative therapies, including Orthobiologics, EMTT, Shockwave, and Laser procedures, following clinic protocols and patient care standards.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on pain reduction, mobility restoration, and return-to-activity goals.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, physical therapists, and other members of the care team, both in our office and our associate office FitMed Partners, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

Compensation

The salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 per year. Full-time employees are eligible for health insurance and paid time off.
