job_description.job_card.job_descriptionExpert in HEDIS measures and other quality and regulatory reporting requirements Bridge the Gap - Measure Clinical Performance and turn Data into action Manage a portfolio of projects with routine communication / touch base with the clinical and business areas (internal clients) Manage customer requirements and identify most efficient and accurate approach to structuring solutions to complex reporting / analytics needs Provide recommendations and alternatives Understand the need identified and driven by clinical leadership Articulate / translate need into a project through problem solving / whiteboard session, etc Validate reports / analysis to ensure accuracy via comparison to internal and external benchmarks and use of peer review as appropriate Act as a data steward maintaining and ensuring data integrity; manage research concerning data anomalies, work with other departments to identify solution or workaround, and communicate outcomes and impacts to other departments as appropriate Project execution could be a solo effort or team-based approach including analysts / scientists / informaticists depending on a business problem Presentation of findings / recommendations Support findings / recommendations implementation and monitoring Formal program / initiative evaluation Must have at least 5 years in healthcare analytics. BA in Statistics, Computer Science or related field r equired. MBA or a Master’s in Statistics preferred. Data Tools; SAS , SQL, Tableau , Business Objects, Qlikview, and MS Office proficiency. Must have extensive experience in data analysis, decision support, business analysis and requirements documenting. Demonstrate experience in analysis and presentation of data. Proven ability to summarize data and clearly communicate findings verbally or in writing. Ability to work in small groups and engage a larger audience for participation when appropriate. Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills.
