Job Description

Prospect & Develop : Identify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.

Client Engagement : Build strong relationships with decision-makers in commercial and industrial sectors.

Sales Strategy : Create and execute plans to penetrate new markets and grow revenue streams.

Proposal Management : Prepare accurate estimates and proposals based on project specifications and blueprints.

Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, engineers, and fabrication teams to ensure seamless delivery.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sheet Metal Sales Rep should have :

• Education : Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• Experience : 2+ years in sales, preferably in mechanical contracting, HVAC, or construction
• Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication and HVAC systems
• Technical Skills : Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Understanding of mechanical systems and industry terminology
• Soft Skills : Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
• Other Requirements : Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within service area
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
