Laundry Aide

Marvin and Betty Danto Health Care Center is seeking full-time Laundry Aides to help assist in the long-term care of residents .

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

Collect and sort soiled linen, load and unload machines, and fold clean linen.

Operate computer-operated washers and dryers.

Count and record the linen processed each day, make proper deliveries to units and clean and sanitize the work area including machines, worktables, and sorting area.

Delivers personal clothing to the appropriate resident.

Complete timely completion of assigned linen.

Other duties as assigned.

Our candidates will possess the ability to effectively communicate with patients and other staff.

Educational requirements :

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Ability to pull and push, carry up to 50 pounds, twist, bend, and reach from floor to waist height and from waist to chest level required.
