- Shift Schedule : Starts at 06 : 30 AM, 07 : 00 AM and 07 : 30 AM. Ends at 03 : 00 PM, 03 : 30 PM and 04 : 00 PM

Provide primary end-user support for CAD and GIS applications (including G-Tech).Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues, from basic questions to complex errors.Assist with the installation and configuration of GIS / CAD applications.Administer user access to these systems.Support interfaces connected to the GIS.Create and update GIS maps and layers as needed.Perform quality control checks to ensure data accuracy.Maintain GIS databases and archives.Ability to read and understand technical drawings and plans using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.Advanced knowledge of creating 2D and 3D models of structures, components, and systems.QA / QC detailed drawings, plans, and layouts based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers for accuracy.Understanding design changes and modifications and incorporating them into existing drawings for QA / QC of completed work.Ensuring that drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.Reading calculations and measurements to ensure the accuracy of drawingsRequired Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in geography, GIS, or a related field is required.Ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise mannerProven experience providing end-user support for GIS and / or CAD applications.Proficiency with GIS software (such as ArcGIS, ArcPro, or G-Tech).Proficiency with CAD software (such as MicroStation or AutoCAD).General IT experience.Experience as a user of GIS systems, potentially creating maps or performing analysis.Strong communication skills and experience dealing directly with business users.Digitizing and entering geographic data into GIS databases.Creating and updating GIS maps and layers using GIS software.Performing quality control checks on GIS data to ensure accuracy and completeness , and analyzing geographic data to identify patterns, trends, and relationshipsPreferred Qualifications :
Experience within the utility industry (gas and / or electric).Specific experience with G-Tech.Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, IT, or a related field.Experience with geodatabases like SQL Server or Oracle.Scripting skills (SQL, Python).3-5 years of drafting experience.
