job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProficiency in various design tools (primarily Photoshop Figma and Illustrator) Keen eye for imagery from sourcing compelling visuals to transforming them into elevated on-brand designs Someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment can pivot quickly as priorities evolve and brings a friendly approachable and positive energy to the team A lighthearted adaptable mindset is essential someone who contributes constructively embraces change with ease and keeps the creative process fun and engaging Passionate about creating joyful visually compelling work that helps people celebrate lifes moments Developing visual concepts graphics and layouts for all brand marketing assets (including but not limited to organic social digital ads blog emails partnerships and more.) Assisting the Senior Designer in image sourcing for a variety of projects. Designing web assets such as gallery banners homepage assets & more Assisting the Senior Designer in asset optimization (including but not limited to file exporting and converting email slicing GIF creation and more.) Working cross-functionally with various teams including Brand Social Template Design CRM and more. Staying up to date with the latest design trends and strategies integrating new resources and techniques where needed. Focus on optimizing engagement from a consumer perspective. Can you design effectively grab attention communicate an idea and engage the audience No less than 3 years of design experience (ideally in an in-house creative environment for e-commerce brand or similar) Strong working knowledge of Figma Photoshop and Illustrator Experience with project management apps (Asana) and Google Suite Bachelors Degree in graphic design visual arts or equivalent work experience A keen eye for typography colors layout and photography Exceptional attention to detail in proofing formatting file exports and QA processes Self-sufficient able to work autonomously Must be able to work from the Evite office in Glendale CA 3 days a week. The Graphic Designer (Brand) is part of the Brand Design team and directly supports the Senior Brand Designer in creating visual content across a wide range of touchpoints including web social email product and this role youll help shape how millions of users experience the Evite brand across various channels.
The ideal candidate is a designer with strong conceptual thinking skills who can interpret open-ended creative briefs and translate ideas into thoughtful visually engaging executions. The ideal candidate is collaborative adaptable and receptive to feedback with a curiosity to develop their craft while gaining hands-on experience across diverse brand and marketing projects in a dynamic environment.
