Office Automation Specialist II
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Office of Agriculture Technology Services is seeking an Office Automation Specialist II. This position is with a salary range of $39,000.00 - $46,000.24 and closing date for applications is November 8, 2025.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience in teaching, training, secretarial or administrative work, with two years involving the use of office automation equipment. College education or vocational / technical training can substitute for some of this experience. Verification of education and a credential evaluation for foreign degrees may be required.
Candidates must complete all fields in the candidate profile and provide verifiable information on work history, duties, education, and responses to qualifying questions. The use of AI tools to answer questions or participate in interviews is prohibited.
Job duties include customer support functions within the OATS Help Desk, troubleshooting known problems, documenting issues, and performing remote connection fixes. The successful applicant must pass a background screening, including fingerprinting, and maintain a flextime schedule.
Knowledge of written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, research, documentation, and attention to detail are essential.
