About the Role
The Vice President, Private Equity Senior Associate will be responsible for leading key stages of the investment lifecycle, from deal sourcing and industry research through valuation modelling, due diligence execution, investment recommendation and portfolio monitoring. You will partner with senior deal-team members to perform financial analyses, build detailed models, identify value creation levers, oversee acquisition integration or exit planning, and support operational improvement initiatives at portfolio companies. You will also engage in market and industry deep-dives, assist in building investment theses, and contribute to business development and competitive positioning within a high-growth, lower-middle-market private equity environment.
The ideal candidate will hold at least a Bachelor’s degree, with strong quantitative credentials in finance, accounting or economics, and bring a combination of experience 1-3 years' in investment banking (M&A in the middle-market or lower middle-market) plus 2-6 years' on the buy-side or in private equity. You must demonstrate superior financial modelling, valuation, budgeting and forecasting skills (including the ability to pass a modelling test) and show exceptional interpersonal skills and work ethic. Experience or interest in sectors such as financial services, software and tech-enabled services is preferred.
