Occupational or Physical Therapist - Outpatient

SUMMARY : SUMMARY : Under the direction of the Department Director and the Senior Occupational Therapist, provides quality occupational therapy services to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities.

Oncology Experienced Occupational or Physical Therapy Clinician with emphasis on breast and head and neck cancer oncologic conditions to support our growing team of oncology rehab clinicians to support our NKCH Cancer Center patients and their needs from diagnosis through treatment to recovery. Schedule will be determined at time of hire but anticipate either 4-10 hour days (day off to be determined at time of hire) or 5-8 hour days or some combination of the two, Monday through Friday. Ideal candidate is also able to manage other clinical conditions musculoskeletal or neurological in nature, but the primary emphasis will be for oncology rehab.

Our outpatient clinical staff is cross trained to support acute care needs for 1 holiday and 1 holiday weekend annually with training provided and refresher provided closer to scheduled dates.

SPECIAL SKILLS : Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills..

LICENSE / CERT : Required : BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), OTR (Occupational Therapist), NBCOT (National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy)

EDUCATION : Required : Bachelors - Occupational Therapy
