Quality Inspector - Mechanical - Level 2

We're hiring for a Quality Mechanical Inspector position in Stuart, FL . This is a Full-Time opportunity in which you will be supporting the 2nd shift. This opportunity is a 6-month to 1 year contract . If you have a passion for mechanical products and a keen eye for quality, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct visual, physical, and dimensional inspections of parts, assemblies, and materials at various stages (in-process, final, and first article) to ensure conformance to specifications and drawings.
• Use a variety of precision inspection tools, including micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, huck and height gauges and feeler gauges.
• Demonstrate strong visual acuity with the ability to detect defects in complex products and assess workmanship quality per customer specifications.
• Classify defect types and verify rework completed during inspection.
• Verify documentation packages meet industry and commodity-specific standards.
• Ensure proper protection and preservation of inspected products prior to further processing or shipment.
• Perform 5S activities.
• Assist with customer requests.

$25 - $29 an hour

Mileage reimbursement at the US gov't rate ($0.70 per mile driven, up to 100 miles). Untaxed.
