Job Summary

Teach NAS101D : Science Concepts – Life Sciences, a required course for students majoring in elementary education. This is a half-semester, lab-based course.

Responsibilities

• Teach fundamental concepts and processes of life science course for students majoring in elementary education, focusing on the means by which science knowledge is produced through inquiry-based activities, which are an important, active-learning component in elementary school education
• Contribute to an academic environment that seeks to advance inclusive excellence in the department and the discipline

Skills

Experience

Certification and K – 12 teaching experience preferred

Education

Minimum of a Master’s degree in a Life Science field required
