Job Summary / Description :

The Technical Media Producer (TMP) will provide direct support for automated live newscasts and automated commercial insertion systems across four different networks, provided to over-the-air broadcasts.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Should be familiar with Ross Overdrive newscast automation
  • Should be familiar with commercial automation systems (Digital Broadcast in use here)
  • Should be familiar with EAS operations logging and FCC compliance, as well as monitoring / management of commercial logs
  • Should be available to work weekends and / or fill in for vacations as requested by the TMP Supervisor

Qualifications / Requirements :

  • The applicant should have live newscast experience as well as master control commercial automation experience
  • Great communication skills and problem-solving abilities under pressure. The ability to read / write / communicate in Spanish is a plus
  • Experience in the use of the following vendor systems : AP ENPS, Ross Overdrive, Digital Broadcast, VizRT, BitCentral, and remote camera systems
