About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Corporate Development to play a pivotal role in driving inorganic growth for one of its portfolio companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a disciplined buy-and-build strategy, with a focus on integrating acquired businesses to unlock synergies, standardize processes, and expand the company's geographic reach. This hands-on role requires a leader with a strong background in corporate development, particularly within the context of private equity, and a proven track record in M&A, including solid integration experience. The ideal candidate will have a background as a current or former corporate development leader at a PE-backed or closely held services business, an investment banker transitioning to an operating role, or an originations executive within a PE fund, and must be passionate, committed, and capable of leading the company into the future while honoring its past.

Candidates for the Vice President of Corporate Development position at the company should have a tenure of 10-15+ years, with a focus on highly fragmented, route- or branch-based B2B services markets. The role demands a leader with a contagious will to win, who can leverage data, compliance, and operational excellence to drive durable EBITDA growth. The company values a collaborative, hands-on partnership and a strong emphasis on disciplined value creation through both organic initiatives and strategic M&A. The role is critical in the company's investment thesis, which is centered on building a scalable, integrated platform and driving growth through a planned recapitalization at exit. The candidate must be a strategic thinker, with the ability to work closely with the management team and the global private equity sponsor to achieve the company's growth and integration objectives.
