HealthCare Apps Technical Leader Ruby / PostgreSQL and JavaScript / Front End (Remote Role)
Description
Are you an experienced and skilled Technical Leader with expertise in Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL and Front End Tools? Do you have a passion for contributing to public safety? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

As a Technical Leader, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and lead a team of talented developers. You will play a key role in designing and implementing robust software solutions that will have a direct impact on public safety operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of developers in designing, coding, and testing software applications using Ruby on Rails, PostGreSQL, and Front End Tools (JavaScript, HTML / CSS, various tools and libraries).
- Experience working in a similar, hands-on technical leadership role for a HealthCare company or org. with HIPAA regulatory standards built into the softwae.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Mentor and coach junior developers, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.
- Perform code reviews to ensure best practices and maintain high-quality code standards.
- Experience working in a similar role where you have also done and overseen DevOps for cloud and mobile applications.
- Experience working in a similar role where you have taken ownership as the technical leader for the creation, standup and ongoing maintenance of a high volume / high availability cloud based multi platform site.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software issues.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for improvements to the technical architecture and coding standards.
- Collaborate with other Technical Leaders and stakeholders to drive technical innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
