A rewarding career that helps local businesses in the community Strong community support and involvement through HUB Gives Conducting sales service and solicitation of all forms of commercial insurance business Maximizing growth and client retention through superior customer service Developing accounts and cross selling available products and services Generating and pursuing new client opportunities Develop and deliver formal proposals of insurance program Bringing new business prospects to closure Retaining clients by maintaining solid business-to-business relationships Collaborate with account managers and the marketing team to complete proposals and selection of potential markets Negotiate with carriers and evaluate carrier quotes to secure the best quotes possible for clients 2-5 years industry experience Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products Previous insurance experience is an asset Detail-oriented Strong communication interpersonal multi-tasking and organizational skills required The preferred candidate is a team player with a great attitude self-motivation and the ability to work in a fast paced environment Post-secondary degree or diploma Licensed by appropriate regulatory bodies
